Our Empowerment Pathway

Our Empowerment Pathway is designed to address the many different factors that contribute to homelessness, and to provide a holistic approach that helps women build the skills and resources they need to achieve lasting stability and independence. Each area of the Pathway is essential to supporting women on their journey to self-sufficiency and wellbeing. Here is our “guided path” to empowerment:

Life skills training

Offering classes and workshops focused on developing practical skills such as budgeting, meal planning and cooking, housekeeping, time management, and stress management.

Career counseling and job training

Providing career counseling and job training services to help women secure stable and meaningful employment..

Mental health and emotional support

Offering individual and group counseling services, as well as support groups, to help clients address emotional and psychological challenges they may be facing.

Health and wellness

Providing access to healthcare resources, nutrition education, fitness classes, and other wellness programming to promote physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Educational support

Offering educational support services such as tutoring, literacy classes, and GED preparation to help clients build their academic skills and pursue further education.

Financial literacy and asset-building

Providing financial literacy classes and asset-building programs to help clients build financial stability and independence

Career Development Programs for Unhoused Women

Each workshop is for one hour and is structured to be engaging, informative, and supportive, ensuring that participants gain practical skills and knowledge that can be directly applied.
